Julier Pass

The Julier Pass is a mountain pass in the Albula Alps of Switzerland. It connects the Engadin valley with central Graubünden. At its summit, the pass crosses the drainage divide between the basins of the rivers Rhine and Danube.

The Nietzsche-Haus is a house in Sils Maria in the Engadin region of Switzerland, where the German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche lived during the summers of 1881 and from 1883 to 1888.

Piz Lagrev

Piz Lagrev is a mountain of the Albula Alps, overlooking Lake Sils in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. On its northern side lies the Julier Pass. Reaching a height of 3,165 metres above sea level, Piz Lagrev is the culminating point of the range lying between the Septimer Pass and the Julier Pass.

Maloja is a village in the Swiss canton of Grisons. It is part of the municipality of Bregaglia. It is located at the western end of Lake Sils, near the summit of the Maloja Pass. Since 1884 it boasts the luxury hotel Maloja Palace.
