Sawla is the capital of Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District in Ghanaian Northern Plains in the Savannah Region of Ghana. It is a busy road junction town where the Wa - Damongo - Tamale highway meets, making it the main transit hub for western Savannah. Sawla is situated 9 km northeast of Abrewankor.
