Yumbulagang or Yumbu Lakhar is the original palace of the Yarlung Dynasty kings of Tibet. In Tibetan mythology, it was the first building in Tibet, and was the palace of the legendary first Tibetan king, Nyatri Tsenpo who is said to have reigned from 127 BCE. Yungbulakang Palace is situated 2½ km east of ཡར་ཀླུངས་བཀྲ་ཤིས་ཆོས་སྡེ། 扎西曲德寺.
