The Grand Som is a mountain of the Chartreuse Mountains in the French Prealps, in Isère, France. It has a long ridge, unevenly sharp, overlooking the Petit Som, the Col de la Ruchère northwest and the Grande Chartreuse monastery below the cliffs.
