The Museum of Contemporary Art of Panama, popularly called MAC Panamá, is the only museum of contemporary art that exists in Panama. It is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that has legal status and its building is located in Panama City. Panama Museum of Contemporary Art is situated 380 metres northwest of Bahia Beach.

The Afro-Antillean Museum of Panama simply known as the Afro-Antillean Museum or MAAP, is an ethnographic museum located in Panama City. The museum was founded on December 23, 1980, by Reina Torres de Araúz in the building of the Former Christian Mission Chapel. Afro-Antillean Museum of Panama is situated 470 metres north of Bahia Beach.

Ancón Hill is a 199 metres high hill that overlooks Panama City, Panama, adjacent to the township of Ancón. It was used for administration of the Panama Canal and was under U.S. jurisdiction as a part of the Panama Canal Zone until being returned to Panama in 1977.
