Alexandria Opera House, also known as Sayed Darwish Theatre is a historic opera house in the city of Alexandria, Egypt. The 1,200-seat Renaissance Revival venue was built from 1918 to 1921, designed by Georges Parcq. Alexandria Opera House is situated 150 metres west of Cinema Rio.

Kom El Deka, also known as Kom el-Dikka, is a neighborhood and archaeological site in Alexandria, Egypt. Early Kom El-Dikka was a well-off residential area, and later it was a major civic center in Alexandria, with a bath complex, auditoria, and a theatre. Kom el Deka (Roman stairs) is situated 190 metres southeast of Cinema Rio.
