Kukës International Airport Zayed, is an international airport located in Kukës, Albania. The airport is located 3.5 km south of the city of Kukës. The main purpose of Kukës International Airport is to serve as an alternative airport to Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza. Kukës International Airport Zayed is situated 3½ km southwest of Qazim Shehu.

The Kukës Arena is a stadium in Kukës, Albania. It is mainly used for football matches and is the home ground of the Kategoria Superiore club Kukësi. The stadium was built on the site of the pre-existing Përparimi Stadium, located near the center of Kukës on Rruga Stadiumi. Kukës Arena is situated 3½ km northwest of Qazim Shehu.

Kukës is a town of 36,000 people in Northeastern Albania, and the last one before the Kosovo border. The surrounding area is dominated by mountainous and high terrain. Kukës is a good centre for fishing and walking in the surrounding mountains.
