Ancram is a town in Columbia County, New York, United States. The population was 1,440 at the 2020 census, down from 1,573 at the 2010 census. The town was named after Ancram, Scotland. Ancram is in the southeastern corner of the county. Ancram is situated 2½ miles northeast of Town of Gallatin.
