Named after Eugen Kvaternik, a 19th-century politician, it marks the intersection of Vlaška Street, Dragutin Domjanić Street, Maksimirska Street, Vjekoslav Heinzel Avenue, and Šubićeva Street. Eugen Kvaternik Square is situated 470 metres northeast of Uriho.
