The fort of Planoise is a fortification located on the summit of the hill of Planoise, in Besançon. Although its location was extremely strategic, the fort was not used during either the first or the second World War.

Arguel is a former commune in the Doubs department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in eastern France. On 1 January 2019, it was merged into the commune Fontain. On a nearby cliff, the Arguel inscription was found here.
