The New Fortress of Corfu is a Venetian fortress built on the hill of St. Mark in Corfu in stages. The original architect of the fort was the military engineer Ferrante Vitelli. New Fortress is situated 560 metres northeast of Το μαρκετάκι.

The Municipal Theatre of Corfu was the main theatre and opera house in Corfu, Greece, from 1902 to 1943. The theatre was the successor of the Nobile Teatro di San Giacomo di Corfù, which became the Corfu city hall. Municipal Theatre of Corfu is situated 730 metres east of Το μαρκετάκι.
