Tamsui, or Danshui, Danshuei, Tamshui) is a district of New Taipei that was the center of shipping and commerce in northern Taiwan in the 19th century.
Wulai

Wulai is a small town in New Taipei, Taiwan, famous for its hot springs and aboriginal culture. The name of the town derives from the Atayal phrase kirofu ulai meaning "hot and poisonous".

Yonghe, also spelled Yungho, is a district of New Taipei. It is famous for its breakfast foods, notably soy milk. The museum of religion is the city's primary draw for tourists.
Xindian

Xindian, also known by its historical spelling Hsintien and alternative spelling Sindian, is a district in New Taipei where the apartment complexes of the Taipei metropolitan area meet the northern end of the Central Mountain Range.
Yingge

Yingge is a district in New Taipei in Taiwan. The district is famous for its ceramics industry, and its Old Street lined with pottery shops and galleries of all kinds.
Xizhi

Xizhi is an inner city district in eastern New Taipei City in northern Taiwan, and is located between Taipei City and Keelung City. Compared to most districts in eastern New Taipei, which are very sparsely populated, Xizhi is one of the more populated districts in New Taipei, with a population of 207,004 people as of February 2023.

Shiding is a rural district of New Taipei, with a population of about 7,000. It is the site of the Fetsui Reservoir, which provides much of the water to the cities in the northern part of Taiwan island.

Ruifang or Rueifang is a district of New Taipei. The area was previously an important mining area but now relies more heavily on tourism.

Pingxi District, is a rural district in New Taipei, Taiwan. The source of the Keelung River is in Jingtong, which is inside Pingxi District. It was an important coal mining town in the early 20th century.
Pinglin

Pinglin is a district of New Taipei. Pinglin is most known for producing pouchong tea, with over 80% of the population of the district employed in the tea trade. The Pinglin Tea Museum is the world's largest tea museum.
Wugu
