Quba is a city in Northeastern Azerbaijan, on the northern slope of the Caucasus, 180 km northwest of Baku.

Khachmaz is a major city in Northeastern Azerbaijan's Khachmaz region. It is located about 10 km from the Caspian Sea, below Khudat, and to the east of Quba.

Qusar is the capital of Qusar District, Azerbaijan. Qusar is located in the foothills of the Greater Caucasus, over the Qusarchay River, 35 kilometers southwest from Khudat railway station and about 180 km from Baku.
