Ayvalık is a city in the Northern Aegean region of Turkey, with a population of 71,063 in 2018. It's on the south coast of the Gulf of Edremit, an inlet of the Aegean Sea, and connected by bridges to the resort of Cunda island, also described on this page.
Bergama

Bergama is a city in the Northern Aegean region of Turkey, 120 km north of Izmir and with a population of 104,980 in 2021. It's best known for the extensive ruins of Pergamon, a World Heritage site.
Edremit

Edremit is a city in the Northern Aegean Region of Turkey. It’s a few km inland from the tip of the Gulf of Edremit, a large inlet of the Aegean Sea. Small resorts straggle along the coast, the main ones being Altınoluk, Akçay and Burhaniye, with Güre inland on the slopes of Kazdağı, the ancient Mount Ida.

Dikili is a coastal town in the Northern Aegean region of Turkey, and also gives its name to a district of a couple of dozen villages. It's a resort within easy reach of Izmir, and in 2021 had a population of 46,587.
Babakale

Babakale is a village in the Northern Aegean Region of Turkey, with a population of 497 in 2020. It's existed since antiquity but the present village grew up to serve its castle, built from 1725.
