Mzuzu

Mzuzu is the capital and largest city in the Northern Region of Malawi. The city has advanced hotels, inns, areas of interest, and many other things. The common language in the city is Chitumbuka, however, basic English is also understood.
Likoma Island

Likoma Island, along with its sister Chizumulu Island, is in the Mozambican territorial waters of Lake Malawi/Nyasa. Both Likoma Island and Chizumulu belong to Malawi.
Karonga

Karonga is a township in the Karonga District in Northern Region of Malawi. Located on the western shore of Lake Malawi, it was established as a slaving centre sometime before 1877.

Chizumulu Island

Chizumulu Island is the smaller sister island to Likoma Island in the Mozambican territorial waters of Lake Malawi/Nyasa. Both Likoma and Chizumulu Islands belong to Malawi.
Nkhata Bay

Nkhata Bay is a small, bustling fishing village of about 15,000 inhabitants, located about 50 kilometers from Mzuzu. Straddling the steep, verdant mountains of Malawi's rift valley, Nkhata Bay overlooks the lake like a lord overlooks his manor.
Livingstonia

Livingstonia or Kondowe is a town located in the Northern Region district of Rumphi in Malawi. It is 430 kilometres north of the capital, Lilongwe, and connected by road to Chitimba on the shore of Lake Malawi.
Nyika National Park

Nyika National Park is a national park in Malawi, right next to the Nyika Plateau National Park in Zambia. With 3200 km² it is Malawi's biggest national park.
Chintheche
Chintheche is a settlement in the Nkhata Bay District of the Northern Region of Malawi. It is on the shore of Lake Malawi, and is approximately 40 kilometres south of Nkhata Bay. The town is close to the main road between Nkhata Bay and Nkhotakota.Northern Malawi
