Lodwar is a town of 83,000 people, and the capital of the Turkana District in the Northern Rift Valley region of Kenya.

Sibiloi National Park is on the north-eastern shore of Lake Turkana in the Northern Rift Valley of Kenya. It is part of the Lake Turkana National Parks UNESCO World Heritage site, recognised in 1997.
