Kitty Hawk, located on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, consists of a thriving village that has been around for generations, a newer beach community of residential cottages, and a maritime forest called Kitty Hawk Woods which features a wide variety of plant and animal life.

Nags Head

Nags Head is a city on the Outer Banks. Legend has it that the names comes from when pirates used to put a lantern around a horse's neck and walk along the beach.

Duck is a town in Dare County, North Carolina, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 746. Duck is the northernmost incorporated town in Dare County and the Outer Banks' newest town, incorporated on May 1, 2002.

Carova Beach or Carova is an unincorporated community in Currituck County in the extreme northeastern corner of North Carolina, United States. The community, begun in the 1960s, is found on Currituck Banks, north of Bodie Island, and can be accessed only by boat or by four-wheel drive vehicle.
