Tetovo is a town tucked into Polog region in the northwestern corner of western North Macedonia, in the shadow of the Šar Mountains. The major city of the Polog region, it has about 53,000 people, making it the fifth-largest city in North Macedonia.
Gostivar

Gostivar is a town in the Western North Macedonia. It is the second-largest city of the Polog region, beneath the Šar Mountain range. The Municipality of Gostivar has over 80,000 residents, of which under half live in the city of Gostivar.

Tearce-Jegunovce

Tearce is a municipality in western North Macedonia, located east of Tetovo. Part of the Polog region, it has over 22,000 residents spread across 13 villages. Jegunovce is east of Tearce, bordering Kosovo. It has under 11,000 residents in its 17 villages.
Brvenica

Brvenica is a municipality located in the Polog region of northwestern North Macedonia, just south of Tetovo. The municipality is home to ten villages with nearly 16,000 residents.
