Mather Hospital is a general teaching hospital operated by Northwell Health, located in Port Jefferson, New York. It is named after John T. Mather, who, in 1916, made provisions to his will to create the hospital.

Port Jefferson is the terminus for the Port Jefferson Branch of the Long Island Rail Road in . The station is located on New York State Route 25A, on the north side of the tracks, but is also accessible from Oakland Avenue, as well as Railroad Avenue and Union Street on the south side of the tracks.

Power station
is a fossil-burning power plant in Port Jefferson, New York on . It is operated by National Grid USA. Its four main steam turbine units were constructed between 1948 and 1960 by the Long Island Lighting Company, with the older two decommissioned in 1994.
