The Lac de Montriond is a lake in the Chablais Alps at Montriond in the Haute-Savoie department of France. It has a surface area of 32 hectares. There is a circular path around the lake and several restaurants next to the D228 access road.

Avoriaz is a French mountain resort in the Portes du Soleil in the French commune of Morzine, on a shelf above the town of Morzine. Cars are forbidden in Avoriaz; transport includes horse-drawn sleighs and snowcats during winter. Avoriaz is situated 3½ km south of Portes du Soleil.
