Calviá is a municipality in the Serra de Tramuntana region of Mallorca, west of the capital Palma. Calviá town inland is small, and greatly outgrown by the resorts along the coast.

Deià is a village in Serra de Tramuntana on the west coast of Mallorca, with a population in 2024 of 700. It's attractive place in the mountains, best known to English speakers as the final home of Robert Graves.
Sóller

Sóller is a town in Serra de Tramuntana on the northwest coast of Mallorca. It's best known for the narrow-gauge railway that brings you here from Palma, then the tram that continues down to the port.

Valldemossa

Valldemossa is a village in the hills of Serra de Tramuntana in Mallorca, with a population of 2000 in 2023. The reason to visit is its 14th century Charterhouse, which has been a palace, monastery, secular accommodation and now a museum.
Andratx

Andratx is a town in the Serra de Tramuntana area at the southwest tip of Mallorca. Together with its harbour of Port d'Andratx, the beach resort of Camp de Mar, and smaller villages such as Sant Elm, the population was 11,800 in 2023.
Pollença

Pollença is a town in the Serra de Tramuntana region of northeast Mallorca, with a well-preserved old centre. In 2023 the population was 17,300, but this includes Port de Pollenca and the rugged headland of Formentor, separately described.

Magaluf is a major holiday resort in the Serra de Tramuntana region of Mallorca, a short way west of the capital Palma. It's notorious for its raucous young holiday-makers binge-drinking in the pubs and clubs.

Port de Pollença is a small town on the coast of the Serra de Tramuntana region of Mallorca. It's the most northerly town on the island. The Roman port of Pollentia was further southeast by present-day Alcúdia, but came under seaborne attack so they moved inland to Pollença.
