Otsu

Ōtsu is the capital of Shiga prefecture. Enryaku-ji, a Tendai monastery located on Mount Hiei overlooking Kyoto, is the headquarters of the Tendai sect and one of the most significant monasteries in Japanese history.
Lake Biwa
