Xiamen

Xiamen is a coastal city in Fujian Province in China. It has been an important port for centuries and became one of China's earliest Special Economic Zones in 1980.
Quanzhou

Quanzhou is a coastal city in Fujian Province north of Xiamen and south of Fuzhou. Older romanisations, no longer in use, include Ch'üan-chou, Chuanchow and Chinchew.
Zhangzhou

Zhangzhou is a prefecture-level city in Fujian Province, China. The prefecture around the city proper comprises the southeast corner of the province, facing the Taiwan Strait and surrounding the prefecture of Xiamen.

Putian Putian, located on the southeast coast of Fujian Province, China, is a city with a long history and rich cultural heritage, and is known as the hometown of Mazu, the "goddess of peace on the sea".

Jinjiang is a mainly industrial city just across the river from Quanzhou in Fujian. Administratively, it is a county-level city in Quanzhou Prefecture, but for practical purposes it can be thought of as a suburb of Quanzhou.

Shishi is a small city in Fujian, located between Xiamen and Quanzhou. The main industries are clothing factories and stone quarries.
Tong’an

Tong'an District is a northern mainland district of Xiamen which faces Quemoy County, Republic of China. To the north is Anxi and Nan'an, and to the south is Jimei.
Hui’an

Hui'an is a county under the jurisdiction of the prefecture-level city of Quanzhou, Fujian, People's Republic of China. It is situated in the middle of the Fujian coast, between Quanzhou and Meizhou Bay.
Dehua

Dehua County is a region in Quanzhou prefecture. The name Dehua can refer either to the county as a whole or to the market town which is its center. There is a local government website, but as of June 2025, it is entirely in Chinese.

Xiang'an is one of the districts of Xiamen, People's Republic of China. It is located on the mainland, and is Xiamen's easternmost district.

Jimei is a town in Fujian. It is administratively a part of Xiamen and shares many features of Xiamen, including a common public transportation system.
