Fiordland National Park

Invercargill, the most southerly city in New Zealand, was built in the late 19th and early 20th century, and its wide streets and century old buildings give the visitor a unique feeling of stepping back in time to when business was conducted in a more sedate and considered manner and the streets were paved with Central Otago gold.

Te Anau is a small town on the shore of Lake Te Anau, in the Southland region of the South Island. It is the gateway to Fiordland National Park and Milford Road.
Gore

Gore is a town of 8,200 people in the Southland region of New Zealand that is known as the world's capital of brown trout fishing, and New Zealand's capital of country music. It is on State Highway 1 about an hour's drive from Invercargill.
Bluff

Bluff is a small port town and the southernmost town on the South Island of New Zealand. It is 30 km south of the city of Invercargill.
The Catlins

The Catlins is a hilly, forested coastal area in the south-eastern corner of the South Island. Its attractions include coastal scenery, marine mammals such as fur seals, sea lions and rare Hector's dolphins, rare yellow-eyed penguins, native forest walks and birdlife, and the Jurassic fossil forest of Curio Bay.
Mataura

Mataura is a rural service town on the Mataura River, 13 km south of Gore, in the Southland region of the South Island of New Zealand.
Manapouri

Manapouri is a town of 222 in the Southland region of the South Island of New Zealand. It isn't an attraction of itself, but rather serves as a gateway for exploring the southern fiords and sounds of Fiordland National Park, most prominently Doubtful Sound and Dusky Sound.
Mossburn

Mossburn is a small stopover town of 180 along the way to Te Anau in Southland. It's not much of a destination of its own, but there have been growing efforts to make it given its prime location.
