Angra do Heroísmo, or simply Angra, is a city and municipality on Terceira Island in Portugal's Azores archipelago. The town centre is a well-preserved UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Praia da Vitória, officially the Very Notable City of Praia da Vitória, is a municipality in the Portuguese archipelago of the Azores. With a population of 21,035, the second largest administrative authority on the island of Terceira, it covers an area of 162.29 square kilometres, that extends from the northern coast halfway into the interior.

The Algar do Carvão is an ancient lava tube or volcanic vent located in the central part of the island of Terceira in the Portuguese archipelago of the Azores. It lies within the civil parish of Porto Judeu in the municipality of Angra do Heroísmo.
