Kingston is a city in New York's Hudson Valley, 91 miles north of New York City and 50 miles south of Albany. It is the county seat of Ulster County and was the first capital of New York state.

Woodstock is a town in Ulster County, New York. It is one of the most famous small towns in the world, associated with the music festival that was supposed to be here in 1969, but was held 65 miles away. It has been a center for the arts since the late 1800s.
