Majuli or Majoli is the largest island in the Brahmaputra River in Assam. Mājuli used to have a total area of 1,250 km², but by 2014, erosion had reduced its area to 352 km².
Golaghat
Calm and scenic, Golaghat, one of the oldest urban agglomerations of Assam, has a beautiful landscape with several streams. Within the city limits, there are two wildlife preserves, a UNESCO-listed park, ancient ruins and sacred Hindu and Christian sites from the 17th and 19th centuries.Upper Assam
