Gelati is a medieval monastic complex near Kutaisi in the Imereti region of western Georgia. One of the first monasteries in Georgia, it was founded in 1106 by King David IV of Georgia as a monastic and educational center. Gelati Monastery is situated 3½ km north of Godogani Cemetery.

Iazoni Cave Natural Monument also known as Tskaltsitela Cave is a karst cave located across the river Tskaltsitela near village Godogni, Terjola Municipality, just outside Kutaisi in Imereti region of Georgia, 135 metres above sea level. Iazoni Cave is situated 3½ km west of Godogani Cemetery.
