St. Florian’s Church
St. Florian's Church is a Roman Catholic church at Upper Square in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Prior to its completion in 1696 and its construction after 1672, it was commissioned by Slovenian citizens in memory of the great fire which devastated the Stari trg and Gornji trg squares in 1660.Photo: Žiga, Public domain.

Ljubljana Castle is a castle complex standing on Castle Hill above downtown Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It is a key landmark of the town. Originally a medieval fortress, it was probably constructed in the 11th century and rebuilt in the 12th century. Ljubljana Castle is situated 290 metres north of St. Florian’s Church.

St. James's Parish Church is a church in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It is dedicated to St. James the Greater. Its name is often incorrectly translated as St. St. James’s Parish Church is situated 100 metres west of St. Florian’s Church.

The National and University Library, established in 1774, is one of the most important national educational and cultural institutions of Slovenia. It is located in the centre of Ljubljana, between Auersperg Street, Gentry Street, and Vega Street, in a building designed by the architect Jože Plečnik in the years 1930–31 and constructed between 1936 and 1941. National and University Library of Slovenia is situated 410 metres west of St. Florian’s Church.
