The former mosque is located in the southwest of the square, next to the Great Mosque of Tlemcen. Sidi Belahcen Mosque is situated 260 metres northeast of Awlad al-Imam Mosque.

The Sidi Brahim al-Masmudi Mosque is a mosque located in central Tlemcen, Algeria. Completed in 765 AH by the sultan Abu Hammu II, ruler of the Zayyanid dynasty, the mosque was built alongside Sheik Sidi Brahim's tomb, which gave the mosque its name. Sidi Brahim al-Masmudi Mosque is situated 190 metres east of Awlad al-Imam Mosque.
