The Taranaki Cathedral Church of St Mary is a historic Anglican cathedral church, located at 37 Vivian Street, New Plymouth, in New Zealand. The cathedral is the oldest stone church in New Zealand and is listed by Heritage New Zealand as a Category 1 Historic Place. The New Plymouth Cenotaph is a war memorial located at the intersection of Queen and St Aubyn Streets in New Plymouth, New Zealand. Unnveiled on 17 September 1924, it was designed by architect Frank Messenger and constructed in local andesite, closely modelled on the Whitehall Cenotaph in London. New Plymouth Cenotaph is situated 220 metres north of Govett-Brewster Art Gallery.
