The Scheidegg is a mountain summit of the Rigi massif, overlooking Goldau in the canton of Schwyz on its north mountainside, and Gersau and the Gersau Bay of Lake of Lucerne on its south side.

Goldau is part of the official commune Arth-Goldau, a merger of the Goldau with nearby Arth in the canton of Schwyz in Central Switzerland.
