Valley of the Kings

The Valley of the Kings is an Egyptian archaeological locality in the hills immediately behind the West Bank of Luxor. As such, it is one of the most remarkable archaeological destinations in the world - the burial place of most of the pharaohs of Egypt of the New Kingdom.

Ramesseum

The Ramesseum is the memorial temple of Pharaoh Ramesses II. It is located in the Theban Necropolis in Upper Egypt, on the west of the River Nile, across from the modern city of Luxor. Ramesseum is situated 140 metres south of Chapel of the White Queen.

Memnon Statue

The Colossi of Memnon are two large stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, which stand at the front of the ruined Mortuary Temple of Amenhotep III, the largest temple in the Theban Necropolis. Memnon Statue is situated 1 km south of Chapel of the White Queen.
