Danbury High School is a public high school in Lakeside, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Danbury Local Schools district. Their mascot is the Lakers. Danbury High School is situated 1,100 feet southwest of Lakeside Welcome Center.

Marblehead Lighthouse in Marblehead, Ohio, United States, is the oldest lighthouse in continuous operation on the American side of the Great Lakes. It has guided sailors safely along the rocky shores of Marblehead Peninsula since 1822, and is an active aid to navigation. Marblehead Light is situated 2 miles east of Lakeside Welcome Center.
