The Church of St. Lucy in Jurandvor near Baška, Krk, Croatia is a Romanesque Catholic church from the year 1100 with two major medieval Croatian artifacts: the Baška Tablet, and a checkerboard-pattern carving on the bell tower that is suspected to be one of the first instances of the Croatian coat of arms. Church of St. Lucy is situated 2 km northwest of vela beach.

Stražica Lighthouse

Stražica Lighthouse on the island of Prvić in the Adriatic Sea was built in 1875 and consists of a small stone house and a 5-metre tall lighthouse tower. Stražica Lighthouse is situated 4 km south of vela beach.
