Échourgnac is a commune in the Dordogne department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France. It is the site of a Cistercian abbey, Notre-Dame de Bonne Esperance, which is renowned for producing cheese. Échourgnac is situated 6 km east of Étang des Ménissoux.

Saint-Aulaye is a former commune in Dordogne, France. On 1 January 2016, it was merged into the new commune Saint-Aulaye-Puymangou. Jeanne Baret, the first woman to travel round the world, retired to Saint-Aulaye, where she died in 1807. Saint-Aulaye is situated 9 km north of Étang des Ménissoux.
