Siilinjärvi railway station is located in the municipality of Siilinjärvi in Northern Savonia region of Finland. Opened in 1902, the station is located on the Savonia railway and is also the western terminus of the Siilinjärvi–Viinijärvi-line, the latter of which only serves freight traffic. Siilinjärvi railway station is situated 700 metres north of Mantun kenttä.

Pöljä is a village in the northern part of the Siilinjärvi municipality in North Savo, Finland. At the end of 2021, the village had 377 inhabitants. It is located along the Highway 5, about 10 kilometres north of the Siilinjärvi's centre and about 30 kilometres north of the city of Kuopio. Pöljä is situated 9 km north of Mantun kenttä.
