Peel Forest is a small community in the Canterbury region of New Zealand. It is located near the Peel Forest Park Scenic Reserve and about 23 kilometres north of Geraldine.

Blandswood is small settlement in the South Canterbury region. It is near the town of Peel Forest. Various popular walking tracks including Rata Falls and Little Mount Peel in the Peel Forest Park Scenic Reserve begin in Blandswood. Blandswood is situated 3 km west of Clarkes Flat.
