Hirvenojan luonnonsuojelualue is a nature reserve in Tavastia Proper, Southern Finland. Hirvenojan luonnonsuojelualue is situated nearby to the suburb Sammalisto, as well as near Kaunola.

Riihimäki Prison is the main correctional facility in southern Finland, located in Riihimäki. It is a closed prison, with capacity for 223 inmates. Along with Turku, Riihimäki is one of two prisons in Finland with the highest A+ security rating, making it home to the country's most dangerous prisoners.

The Ryttylä railway station is located in the municipality of Hausjärvi, Finland, in the village and urban area of Ryttylä. It is located along the Riihimäki–Tampere railway, and its neighboring stations are Turenki in the north and Riihimäki in the south.

Riihimäki is in Tavastia Proper, about 70 km north of Helsinki. The most notable attractions in the city are museums, such as the Glass Museum hosted in the former glass factory of Riihimäen Lasi, and while Riihimäki isn't exactly a prime tourist destination, quite a number of travellers pass through every day.
