Almaty Botanical Garden

Almaty Botanical Garden is the main botanical garden of Almaty, Kazakhstan. Owned by the Republican "Institute of Botany and Phytointroduction" of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Education and Science, it was founded in 1932 on an area of 108 hectares. Almaty Botanical Garden is situated 390 metres southeast of Saka kurgan.

Esentai Tower

The Esentai Tower also known as the Almaty JW Marriott Hotel is a high-rise mixed-use building in the Medeu District of Almaty, Kazakhstan. Built between 2006 and 2008, the tower stands at 162 m tall with 36 floors and is the current 5th tallest building in Kazakhstan. Esentai Tower is situated 1¼ km east of Saka kurgan.
