Izukyū-Shimoda Station is a railway station in the city of Shimoda, Shizuoka, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Izukyū Corporation. Izukyushimoda is situated 1¼ km northwest of Misago Island.

Gyokusen-ji is a Buddhist temple located in the city of Shimoda, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. It is noteworthy in that it served as the first American consulate in Japan. The temple and its grounds were designated as a National Historic Site of Japan in 1951. Gyokusenji is situated 710 metres east of Misago Island.

Minamiizu is a town located at the southern tip of Izu Peninsula in Kamo District, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 July 2019, the town had an estimated population of 8,231 in 3895 households, and a population density of 74 persons per km². Minamiizu is situated 9 km west of Misago Island.
