Isthmia was an ancient sanctuary of Poseidon on the territory of the ancient city-state of Corinth and located on the Isthmus of Corinth in Greece. It was famous in antiquity for the Isthmian Games and its Temple of Poseidon. Istmia is situated 3½ km south of Άνω Μεζονέτες.

The Temple of Isthmia is an ancient Greek temple on the Isthmus of Corinth dedicated to the god Poseidon and built in the Archaic Period. It is about 16 kilometers east of ancient Corinth, at the site of ancient Isthmia. Temple of Poseidon is situated 3½ km south of Άνω Μεζονέτες.
