Hiroshima Prefectural Sports Center is an indoor arena located in Hiroshima, Japan. The original arena was built sometime shortly after World War II. The arena was rebuilt for the 1994 Asian Games. Hiroshima Prefectural Sports Center is situated 350 metres southeast of Sorazaya Bridge.

Hiroshima Castle, sometimes called Carp Castle, is a castle in Hiroshima, Japan that was the residence of the daimyō of the Hiroshima Domain. The castle was originally constructed in the 1590s, but much of it was dismantled in the Meiji era, and was what remained was largely destroyed by the atomic bombing on August 6, 1945. Carp castle is situated 770 metres east of Sorazaya Bridge.
