The Carlucci American International School of Lisbon is a not-for-profit private international school in Linhó, Sintra, Portugal. Founded in 1956, CAISL is the oldest American school in the Iberian Peninsula and the only U.S. Carlucci American International School of Lisbon is situated 440 metres north of Pavilhão Contemporâneo.

Pena Castle

The Pena Palace is a Romanticist palace in São Pedro de Penaferrim, in the municipality of Sintra, on the Portuguese Riviera. The castle stands on the top of a hill in the Sintra Mountains above the town of Sintra, and on a clear day it can be easily seen from Lisbon and much of its metropolitan area. Pena Castle is situated 2½ km north of Pavilhão Contemporâneo.
