The Moritzburg is a fortified castle in Halle, Germany. The cornerstone of what would later become the residence of the Archbishops of Magdeburg was laid in 1484; the castle was built in the style of the Early Renaissance. Moritzburg is situated 400 metres south of Am Kirchtor.

Roter Ochse is a prison in Halle. The name can be traced to the end of the nineteenth century, but its origin is unclear. It is said to be related to the colour of the masonry. Since 1996 the building has also been used as a memorial. Roter Ochse is situated 220 metres north of Am Kirchtor.
