Alpamayo or Shuyturaju is one of the most conspicuous peaks in the Cordillera Blanca of the Peruvian Andes. Alpamayo Creek originates northwest of it. The Alpamayo lies next to the slightly higher Quitaraju. Alpamayo is situated 3 km south of Laguna Llullacocha.

Pukaqucha is located in the Ancash Region, Huaylas Province, Yuracmarca District, northwest of the highest peak of Pucajirca.
