Terukuni shrine

Terukuni jinja is a Shinto shrine in the city of Kagoshima in Kagoshima Prefecture in Japan. This shrine is considered to be a dwelling place for the kami of Shimazu Nariakira, whose posthumous name is Terukuni Daimyōjin.

Mount Shiroyama is a mountain located in Kagoshima, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. The true height is 107m. The original name is Tsuru ga mine The mountain is famous as the site of the Battle of Shiroyama in 1877, at the end of the Satsuma rebellion.

Kagoshima City Museum of Art opened within the Ninomaru of Tsurumaru Castle in Kagoshima, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan, in 1985. The collection includes works by local artists Kuroda Seiki, Fujishima Takeji, and Wada Eisaku, as well as Western painters Claude Monet and Paul Cézanne. Kagoshima City Museum of Art is situated 290 metres northeast of Terukuni shrine.
