Diocletian’s Palace

Diocletian's Palace is an ancient Roman palace and fortress complex in Split, Croatia. It was built at the end of the third century AD by the Roman Emperor Diocletian as his retirement residence. Diocletian’s Palace is situated 1½ km southeast of Poljud Stadium.

Spaladium Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Split, Croatia. It was opened in December 2008, and hosted the following month's World Men's Handball Championship in 2009. Spaladium Arena is situated 550 metres north of Poljud Stadium.
Split Archaeological Museum

The Split Archaeological Museum is the oldest museum in Croatia, established in 1820 by a decree of the Dalmatian government in Zadar. Some 150,000 artifacts cover prehistoric times, the period of Greek colonization of the Adriatic, Roman Provincial and Early Christian era to the early Middle Ages and the period of Croatian popular rulers. Split Archaeological Museum is situated 480 metres southeast of Poljud Stadium.
