Playland is an amusement park located along the Long Island Sound in Rye, New York, United States. Built in 1928, the 280-acre park is owned by the Westchester County government. Playland is situated 1,800 feet northeast of Rye Dog Beach.

Rye station is a commuter rail stop on the Metro-North Railroad New Haven Line, located in the city of Rye, New York. The station has two side platforms, each ten cars long, serving the outer tracks of the four-track line. Rye station is situated 1½ miles north of Rye Dog Beach.
