Karlatornet

The Karlatornet is a mixed-use skyscraper built by Serneke in Lindholmen in Gothenburg, Sweden. Started in 2019 and topped out in June 2023, the tower stands at 246 m tall with 74 floors, was completed in the autumn of 2024 and is the current tallest building in Sweden. Karlatornet is situated 170 metres east of Karla Center.

Backa Theatre is a youth theater located in Gothenburg, Sweden. It focuses on producing theater for children and their families. The theater was founded in 1978 by Eva Bergman, Ulf Dohlsten, and Maria Hedborg as part of Gothenburg City Theatre. Backa Theatre is situated 360 metres south of Karla Center.

Lindholmen is a former island in the Göta Älv river, now part of the larger island of Hisingen, in Gothenburg, Sweden. Lindholmen was not attached to Hisingen until 1864, or perhaps even later, and the western part of the channel separating the two islands is preserved in the form of the inlet Sannegårdshamnen, which now functions as a marina.
